About the Client

Innovation Academy is a future-focused high school designed around hands-on, real-world learning experiences that prepare students for careers in healthcare, technology, design, engineering, media, and beyond.

 

The school partnered with Ember & Rise Growth Co. to create a series of cinematic recap videos capturing some of their most immersive student events and experiences throughout the school year.

 

The goal wasn’t simply to document events.

 

It was to create emotionally engaging content that showcased the energy, creativity, collaboration, and real-world impact happening inside Innovation Academy every day.

The Challenge & Approach

Innovation Academy partnered with Ember & Rise to create cinematic event recap videos showcasing student experiences, hands-on learning, and community engagement throughout the school year.

 

The project evolved far beyond traditional school event coverage. Through cinematic filming, documentary-style editing, and immersive storytelling, the videos captured the energy, emotion, and real-world learning happening inside Innovation Academy.

 

The final videos generated overwhelmingly positive feedback from school leadership and helped showcase what’s possible through high-quality video production and educational storytelling.

Project Highlights

“Save a Life” Medical Responder Simulation

One of the most visually compelling projects in the series, the “Save a Life” event simulated a real-world emergency response scenario where students applied hands-on medical and EMS training in a live-action disaster simulation.

 

Students performed as emergency responders and medical teams while practical effects makeup created realistic injury simulations throughout the event.

 

The final edit showcased the incredible depth of Innovation Academy’s healthcare and emergency response programs in a way that felt powerful, emotional, and real.

Making Fun Partnership Event

Innovation Academy partnered with the Netflix series Making Fun for a hands-on student experience centered around creativity, innovation, and collaborative problem solving.

The video captured the excitement and momentum of the event through fast-paced edits, crowd reactions, behind-the-scenes collaboration, and cinematic visual storytelling.

 

The final piece highlighted not only the partnership itself, but the culture of creativity and innovation within the school.
